Vapriikissa sukelletaan jälleen tulevana viikonloppuna vanhan ajan tunnelmaan kaksipäiväisessä Vapriikki-vintage-tapahtumassa. Teemana on näin maamme satavuotisjuhlavuonna mikäpä muukaan kuin Eläköön, Suomi! Kumpanakin päivänä on avoinna vintagetori, johon on vapaa pääsy. Torilta voit tehdä retrolöytöjä niin vaatetuksen kuin sisustuksenkin saralla. Ohjelmassa on myös muun muassa ehostusta, lettien teon opetusta, musiikkiesityksiä, vanhoja Suomi-filmejä, tanssioppia ja muotinäytös. Vaihda siis viileimmät trendit viikonlopuksi menneiden vuosien suosikkeihin.
Vintage Atmosphere at Vapriikki
Old-time charm is once more tangible at Vapriikki Museum Center this weekend as the two-day Vapriikki-vintage event takes over the place. This year marking the 100th anniversary of Finnish independence, the event’s theme is Long Live Finland! On both days, there’s a vintage market with a free entry. There you can find some retro treasures both to wear and to decorate your home with. The program also includes, for instance, quick make-ups, guidance in braiding hair, musical performances, old Finnish movies, dance lessons and a fashion show. So, give up the coolest trends for one weekend in exchange for favorites from past decades.
