Tänään alkaa pääkirjasto Metsossa paljon toivottu Tove Jansson 100 vuotta –juhlaluentosarja, jonka järjestää Lastenkirjainstituutti yhteistyökumppaneineen. Syksyn ajan keskiviikkoisin järjestettävillä luennoilla joukko eri alojen asiantuntijoita tarkastelee rakastetun, monipuolisen taiteilijan uraa tieteen ja taiteen näkökulmista.
Ensimmäisenä luennoitsijana on FT Sirke Happonen, joka kertoo Tovesta kuvan ja sanan yhdistäjänä. Luennot ovat kaikille avoimia.
Tove Jansson Celebrated at the Main Library
Arranged by The Finnish Institute for Children’s Literature with its partners, a much-requested celebratory lecture series Tove Jansson 100 Years begins today at the Main Library Metso. Held every Wednesday during the fall, a group of professionals from various fields will examine the beloved and versatile artist’s career from the perspectives of art and science.
The first lecturer is PhD Sirke Happonen, who will talk about the interplay of words and images in Tove Jansson’s work. The lectures are open to all.
