Latinalaisamerikkalaiseen keittiöön keskittyvä Living Room on avannut ovensa aivan viime vuoden loppumetreillä osoitteessa Hämeenkatu 26, jossa aiemmin toimi nyttemmin toimintansa lopettanut Aussie Bar – joka muuten lupailee vielä palaavansa Tampereelle. Living Room on kahvilan, ravintolan ja yleiseen hengailuun tarkoitetun baarin yhdistelmä, jossa pääsee viikonloppuisin vähän jopa jorailemaan. Paikan taustalla häärii Inezistä ja Barmaciasta tuttu Leon Aguilera. Latino-olkkari keskittyy iltoihin ja avaa ovensa päivittäin vasta neljältä (talvisunnuntaisin suljettu). Arkena ovet ovat auki iltakymmeneen tai puoleenyöhön, viikonloppuna aamukolmeen. Paikan virallisia avajaisia vietetään perjantaina kello seitsemän alkaen. ¡Ay, caramba!
Latin Lounge’s Opening Party
Focusing on Latin American cuisine, Living Room opened its doors at the very end of last year at Hämeenkatu 26, the location where the now closed Aussie Bar used to be – which, btw, promises to return to Tampere. Living Room is a combination of a café, restaurant and lounge bar that even allows you to dance a little at the weekends. The man behind the place is Leon Aguilera whom you might know from such joints as Inez and Barmacia. The Latin lounge concentrates on the evenings opening daily at 4 pm (closed on Sundays in the winter). During the week, it is open until 10 pm or midnight and at the weekend until 3 am. The official opening party is held this Friday starting at 7 pm. ¡Ay, caramba!
